The stars at night

Look at these stars,
shining bright in the sky,
adding glamour to the night.

They never promised to be there.
They never vowed to shine above.

Yet, every night out there,
the stars shine even when
the moon doesn't show up.

It's their destiny to twinkle.
It's their fate to burn bright.

If only you could understand,
even behind the darkest clouds,
the stars glimmer every time.
